Prefabs: the hard work is already done!
The concept is so simple, it makes you smile.Use prefabs to quickly build the game of your imagination. For example; choose from different camera prefabs (first person, third person, top-down, RTS), then pick your type of AI, character control, and so on.All prefabs are easy to put together and most come with (free!) tutorials on its implementation. It couldn't be easier! How's that smile coming?
How do the Prefabs work together?
Some prefabs are very easy to implement (like Particle Effects), others take a little more work (like Facebook implementation scripts). We've kept every prefab easy to understand and they come with all the help you need: video tutorials, sometimes written tutorials and example scenes.Still need help? Our 'world's friendliest forums' are here for you!
Basic prefabs
Basic Prefabs don't need a lot of setup. They mostly work out-of-the-box and are easily configurable by tweaking variables inside the Unity Editor.
Medium prefabs
Medium Prefabs are a little more advanced than basic prefabs. There's still easy tweaking with variables but you might want some slight custom work to fit the prefab to your needs.
Advanced prefabs
Last but certainly not least are the advanced prefabs: These are advanced pieces of code (or pre-coded art) that will save you lots of time, but might need a second or two to configure.
